English: James Earl "Jimmy" Carter, Jr. (born October 1, 1924) an American politician, was the 39th President of the United States (1977–1981) and the Nobel Peace laureate in 2002. Русский: Джимми Картер (род. 1 октября 1924) — 39-й президент США и лауреат Нобелевской премии 2002 года. Français : James Earl Carter, Jr. (1924- ) est le trente-neuvième président des États-Unis. Il est élu pour un mandat de quatre ans de 1977 à 1981. Son mandat est marqué par d'importantes réussites en politique extérieure dont les traités sur le Canal de Panama, les Accords de Camp David (le traité de paix entre l'Égypte et Israël), le traité « SALT II » avec l'Union soviétique et l’ouverture de relations diplomatiques avec la République populaire de Chine. En politique intérieure, son gouvernement a permis la création du ministère de l’Énergie et du ministère de l’Éducation et a renforcé la législation sur la protection environnementale. Deutsch: James Earl "Jimmy" Carter Jr. (* 1. Oktober 1924 in Plains, Georgia) war als Kandidat der Demokraten der 39. Präsident der USA (1977 bis 1981). In seiner Amtszeit schloss er die Verträge zur Übergabe des Panama-Kanals und war maßgeblich an den Verhandlungen zum Abkommen von Camp David I beteiligt. Er handelte den SALT II-Vertrag mit der Sowjetunion aus und die USA nahmen erstmals diplomatische Beziehungen zur Volksrepublik China auf (bereits unter seinem Vor-Vorgänger Richard Nixon ausgehandelt).
