Includes commissioned officers of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry regiment of the British Army, formed in 1881 by the amalgamation of the 43rd Regiment of Foot and the 52nd Regiment of Foot. Buckinghamshire was added to the title in 1908. The regiment became part of the Green Jackets Brigade in 1958 and was renamed 1st Green Jackets (43rd and 52nd). In 1966, the battalion became the 1st Battalion, Royal Green Jackets.
