People who were "rehabilitated" (i.e., exonerated) by the Soviet Union for crimes they had been convicted of or punished for. Many rehabilitations occurred as part of the process of de-Stalinization after the death of Joseph Stalin. Many more rehabilitations occurred during the period of perestroika.
