Founded in March 2002, Turtle Rock Studios is an independent game developer under the lead of Mike Booth, employing around eleven people. They do consultancy work as well as traditional games development, and have found some fame working on Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and Counter-Strike: Source for Valve Software. Turtle Rock Studios was responsible for the first Official Counter-Strike Bot.
