The Virtual Boy was a system developed by Nintendo to be a kind of "virtual reality" console to usher in a new breed of gaming. Advertising for the system was poor and complaints of sickness while viewing the red and black 3D images led to the early demise of the Virtual Boy after only 22 games were released.
